Equine Education Courses
Great for if you want just want to learn more about horses or further your skills.


Equine Education Course: Level 1 Ground/roundpen work
Will be:   April 23, 2012 - May 4, 2012

In this two week course you will learn the basic of ground manners, roundpen work, ground work, trailer loading, picking up feet, how to work thru trouble spots and all the way to your first rides and where to go from there. 


Equine Education Course: Level 2 Basic Under Saddle
Will be:    June 4, 2012 - June 15, 2012

This two week course all the horse's basic "under saddle" education will be addressed. It includes how to develop balance, control and suppleness at the walk, trot, lateral work, introduction to trails and trail obstacles, how to get your first canter and gaining control of the horse's individual body parts enabling you to teach directional control, giving to the bit and direct reining, stopping, go cue, backing, etc.


Equine Education Course: Level 3 Advanced Under Saddle
Will be:   Oct. 15, 2012 - Oct. 26, 2012

*Level 2 must be completed before you can move to level 3*  This two week course is where we take our "trail safe" horse and start the transformation to "performance level horse". You will learn techniques to teach more balanced cantering, circles, leads, leg and seat cues, collection, neck reining (if desired), side passing, correct backing, advanced stops, turns on forehand, spins or turns on the haunches, and more sophisticated lateral work. Easily adaptable to either English or Western Riding.


Each course is two weeks long. You will be provided with a stall for your horse, sawdust for the stall and some turnout time for your horse. Classes are Monday - Friday  10am to 5pm. With a hour lunch break.  Amanda LeSuer will work with every person personally from start to finish. Each course will be held at LeSuer's Training Stables in Cambridge Springs, Pa.
Dont have a horse You may use one of ours.
 A negative Coggins (drawn within the 12 months prior to the sessions being) is required . A limited number of participants are accepted in order to maintain a small teacher/student ratio allowing for personalized instruction.

The price for a 2 week course is $300. A nonrefundable deposit of $75 per course is required when signing up.
